Your Post Needs Your Support!
A Message to our membership:
We now have Electronic Pull Tab machines for your gaming entertainment, we now have a Wine and Beer on Premise retail license so we can legally have Wine and Beer in our Club Lounge, as well we always have Soft drinks, Ice Tea, Water and Coffee & Tea.
Thank You to all of the Comrades that are always there to help out with the tasks of keeping our Post running. This includes all of the Officers, Directors, and Executive Members. As Well as the our Auxiliary Members who do so much for the Post. A special thanks goes out to the small pool of workers that are always there ready to do what ever we need done around the Post for the benefit for all of us. When I am challenged to fix, clean, move things around or any number of tasks the Post requires, I can call on them to help out for all of the small Post tasks so that our Post is clean and ready for all of our members to enjoy for meetings or for our social meetings. You are a special group and I owe you many, many thanks!
I listened, and we have a lot to do here and most of it follows our commitment to help our fellow Veterans that we all committed to do when we joined The American Legion. Lets work on building our small pool of volunteers to a larger pool, it will be less to do for all of us if we divide the work up and rewarding for all of volunteers too!
I have worked on asking for help to develop more things to draw you back to the Post to share the comrade relationship fostered by our Post.
I now ask you to come on out to the post, enjoy seeing your friends, and the activities we host. Tuesday mornings we have the Commanders Coffee & Donuts, a time to visit and catch up with others, play a game of pool, or any of the other activities you choose. Our Post Membership Meeting is the 4th Tuesday of each month. Social Hour 5:00PM , Dinner at 6:00PM and Membership Meeting and Auxiliary meeting at 7:00PM.
If you have any ideas that may help bring you back then let me know. The sooner the better, my term is up after the new officers are installed. I am sure that the new Post Officers will do even more for the post in the future.
Come on out to Your Post!
James Kickler, Commander Post 175
